Back to Work

After a nice long maternity leave, I started work again at the new year. The transition has been pretty easy because of the opportunity I have right now to work from home. I am so blessed to be able to continue to nurse during the day and check in on Vera whenever I miss her! Right now we have a part-time nanny who comes to help out whenever John is in class. Being with Vera all day is a lot more fun than working all day, but this is a pretty good compromise for the time being.

John is staying busy too - now that I am working he is taking on a lot more daddy responsibilities. He is looking forward to a much easier workload next quarter (starting in early March). We are counting down the days until "Call Day" - now 98 days to go!
