I convinced Kelly that she needed to go to her graduation ceremony, even though she had received her degree back in December. I told her how great it would be to dress up all silly and get her name called and get pictures taken.
So today, that's what we did.
Even though the ceremony itself was a little dull (you'd think the master of ceremonies at a ceremony for masters would have a little more pizazz), it was great to celebrate all of the hard work that Kelly put in during the past 3 years. Here are some of the pictures, complete with the tam (hat) and hood (funny thing around the neck). I guess when you're this smart it doesn't matter how you dress.
As you can see, I'm proud of her. Her official degree is Master of Science - Energy, Environmental and Chemical Engineering from Washington University.
