Rethinking the Marketing Strategy

Last week, we saw this sign on a financial firm just down the street from us. It reads, "This TARP'S for you. You buy, we fi(nance)."

We are wondering how this marketing meeting might have gone.

Jack: I thought of the best slogan! It even rhymes! "You Buy, We Fi!"
Gus: Wow, that's perfect!
Phyllis: Hmm... Jack that's clever, but do you think everyone will know what "Fi" means?

By our thinking, this sign stands to reason that compromise is not always the best solution to every problem. It can make a good idea bad or well, in this case, a bad idea even worse.
