The first taste of summer in Lake Ozark, MO

A few weeks back we were blessed to have a member of our church offer us a stay in their lakeview condo for the weekend. So we took some friends and celebrated the end of the school year, and the start of a new crazy year! Todd and Kelly were moving to MI in a couple of weeks and we were soon starting vicarage here in MO.

We had GREAT weather, and this was definitely our first good dose of summer. The beach, the pool, hiking, good food... what more could a young couple in Missouri ask for?!

So we found a place to do some hiking and people all over town told us we must see "The Ruins." So we were pretty psyched! They were pretty cool, but we concluded once we got there that they did not really count as "ruins" since the buildings were built in the 1920s and destroyed by fire, so not exactly The Parthenon.
