Theological Quote of the Week

from the sacred classrooms of Concordia Seminary:

A well-respected Hebrew professor and author of many old testament commentaries said in class this week...

"There is no text in the Bible where God says, 'I can do frickin' whatever I want.' "


...and the runner up for the week, from a much less-respected student:

"All those east coast liberals are Catholic."

While I am no longer an "East-coast liberal," I have to dispute the statement. At Princeton, we annually celebrated Luther's nailing of the theses with this little Reformation ditty, sung to the tune of Super-cali-fragi-listic-expi-ali-do-cious.
